The project partners held a working meeting in Osijek to discuss the project activities undertaken so far, and also the following steps. Sombor water supply company officials expect the biogas plant to be installed by the end of the month. The University of Novi Sad has been supplied with an outfitted mobile laboratory where silage is to be analysed in order to obtain formulations for producing biogas. The Osijek Institute has harvested the silage for the analysis and preparation of formulations.
The partners visited the agrochemical laboratory at the Agricultural Institute Osijek, where they could see the operation of the seed analyser, used to determine seed quality and condition: moisture, gluten content, starch content, etc.
After the meeting, the partners extended the field visit to the village of Budrovci, near Đakovo, where they inspected silage condition and storage facilities, and also took samples for the analysis in the mobile laboratory.
